Hi all, just a brief note to say I am alive and am currently in Chalon-sur-Soane (though by the time you read this, I shall be gone).
I will of course be back to give a fuller account of this part of the trip, but that will have to wait for a week or two until I have ample opportunity.

Finally, just read the paper for the first time in a week and what happened with the election guys!?* Honestly. I leave for three weeks and the place turns to pot.

We won! Sort of. Did we? Gillard's PM, but it still seems pretty murky to me. Strange times.
